In your picture of this part it shows some sort of large black flat guard that is stapled around both wiper arm shafts and the motor.  The original doesn't have this.  Does that remain on the part or should it be removed when installed?Glenn M.Aug 11, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! You can leave it on or remove it - it's mostly an aesthetic piece but if it makes installation more difficult, then I would remove it.
