HASSLE FREE 60-DAY RETURNS

 

Your refund will be processed within 7 days after your return is received and inspected. Once your refund has been processed back to your original form of payment, you will receive an email confirmation. It will take 1-7 business days for your financial institution to post the credit back to your account.

 

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns past 60 days.

 

No, an account is not required to make a return. However, we encourage you to create one and enjoy its benefits! Having an account will make it easier for you to track orders and enjoy faster checkouts with saved addresses, payment methods, and vehicles.

 

Think of a core charge like recycling empty soda cans or plastic bottles – you get that money back! Whenever you buy an aftermarket part, your purchase price may include a core charge, which is the deposit you pay for the “core”, or the recyclable component of that part.

 

If your old core is in reusable condition, please reach out to our team via Live Chat. We’ll provide you with an RMA number and instructions. Then, simply mail the core back using the exact same box your replacement arrived in with your original receipt within 60 days.

 

We do our best to accommodate order cancellations, which are best accommodated if the order has not been packed or shipped yet. If for any reason we are unable to cancel your order, you may return the product.

Once these products do reach the end of their service life due to normal wear and tear, we want to make the process of replacing them as easy as possible so you can recommend CarParts.com to your friends and family with peace of mind.

 

The CarParts.com Lifetime Replacement Guarantee is non-transferable, and only applies to products purchased on CarParts.com. Parts being replaced go through a thorough inspection process. If they were not originally purchased through CarParts.com, we will not accept the exchange, and you will be charged for us shipping the part back or discarding it.


To qualify, you must file a Lifetime Replacement claim and ship the original part (i.e., have it postmarked) within 60 days of placing your new order. Claims for replacement parts will only be processed for items that match the original part purchased (i.e., same SKU). If the original part matches the new replacement part, we will issue a refund based on the original price paid. Tax, shipping, and handling will not be refunded. We do not cover the cost of brand product upgrades or shipping costs to return items.


Lifetime Replacement does not apply to parts purchased prior to February 17, 2022, custom-made products, or empty containers with contents that can’t be physically returned, including aerosols, fluids, liquid gaskets, and additives.

To initiate the replacement process, follow the steps below:


1. Sign in to your CarParts.com account and purchase your new replacement part.


2. Within 60 days of placing your new order, visit our Returns Center on CarParts.com to file a claim.

A. Email address associated with the new and original CarParts.com orders


B. New and original order numbers located in your order confirmation emails, or alternatively the dates of your orders.


3. Once you receive your new part, return the old part to CarParts.com. Please ensure your return is postmarked within 60 days of your new replacement order.


4. CarParts.com will inspect the part upon receipt. If the original part matches the new replacement part, we will issue a refund based on the original price paid. Tax, shipping, and handling will not be refunded. We do not cover the cost of brand product upgrades or shipping costs to return items.

 

When it comes to shipping, you have options. You may choose to ship the item back via your preferred method, including FedEx, UPS, or USPS.

 

Apart from the listed exclusions (please see The Fine Print), Lifetime Replacement applies to every CarParts.com purchase made after February 17, 2022 or later.

 

No matter who installs your parts, the Lifetime Replacement applies.

 

No, we do not cover the labor of part replacement.

 

Only products purchased through CarParts.com may be replaced.

 

In order to swap for a Lifetime Replacement part, the part must be the same as the original (i.e., same SKU, same brand).
