Heating the surface would make it easier to remove the visor from the window. A hair dryer or a heat gun can be used to apply heat on the visor. Just make sure that you don't heat the surface for too long or position the heat gun or dryer too near, or the plastic will melt. As you apply heat to the surface, you should pry off the visor part by part. Don't yank out the entire visor all at once or it may break. Once the visor is pulled out, you can remove the residual glue using adhesive remover.
You may use an adhesive remover. Make sure that the product is made for adhesives used in cars. Stay away from strong solvents as these can leave rough spots on the window corners and surface. A good alternative would be vegetable oil. By dabbing some oil, the adhesive residue will be easier to remove. Just be careful not to leave behind scratches. The main difference is how these two types of visors are installed. While the in-channel visors are fitted into the window channels, seamless types are installed at the seams. Typically, automotive-grade adhesive or 3M tape is used to stick these visors in place. When it comes to overall appearance, there's not much difference. The visors can be distinguished more through their finish, whether they are chrome plated or in black or dark smoke gray, for instance.
Make sure that the surface where the window visors will be taped or glued on is clean. Wipe off dust, moisture, and dirt on window frames and see to it that they're free from debris. Use the wipes that are included in the kit. If the kit doesn't have these, you can always use some rubbing alcohol and paper towel.
Soap and water can be used for cleaning the visors. You can finish these off with some plastic polish.
