Unsure if this part is defective due to the way it operates, please read below
I purchased this item and installed it. When pushing the button to operate in window the crank turned so tight in one direction that it broke the plastic off of the window itself and now I have to order the plastic piece on the window and install it. I don't know if this is a defect with the motor and it should stop itself instead of cranking only 1 way. I feel it should crank partially one way to open the vent window and then crank partially the other way to close the vent window. If anyone knows please respond.
