ABS light issue with newly installed rear wheel hubs. Purchased a set of 2012 Toyota Camry - Rear, Driver and Passenger Side Wheel Hubs and Bearings Manufacturer #SET-REPT285925. I just finished installing both new rear hubs and they work well (fixed my loud noise issue)--however, as soon as I started the car (before even driving it), my "ABS", "Traction Control", and "BRAKE" warning lights all come on and stay on. I test drove the car for about 5 minutes and it drives great with no noises; however, the 3 warning lights stayed on the whole time.
I made sure to install the REPT285926 on the rear drivers side and the REPT 285925 on the rear passenger side and I connected the ABS connectors until they clicked. How do get these warning lights to go away? Thanks.Jeffrey A.Aug 02, 2022
Best Answer:Hi Jeffrey, I'm pleased to assist you. Have you tried to reset the ABS trouble light on your 2012 Toyota Camry? Disconnect the negative cable from your car battery. Then, hold down the brake pedal or do a quick press 2 to 3 times on the brakes to drain the vehicle's electrical system. This will result in a reset of the car's central computer.
