I placed a couple of orders with this company CarParts prior to my order for a drive belt and another order done separately for a water pump. I ordered from CarParts due to prices being low and fast delivery dates. The parts I would order had delivery dates that showed perfect for being able to do the install on the upcoming weekend. It was my 2nd or 3rd order with CP and I was glad to order from them due to previous orders going smooth with no issue. I set up an account with CP after these orders and waited for the delivery. As expected, the water pump was delivered just as it showed and I had been given the estimated day of delivery, however the drive belt I ordered separately prior to the water pump was nowhere to be found. Both parts had a delivery date estimated to be on the upcoming Friday of 4th of July weekend. I ordered the parts on Tuesday evening and tracking said it had been delivered but it was not here. I went into the tracking data again and at the end of the delivery data where it showed it had been delivered, it showed a second separate tracking #. Then it informed me that the expected date for delivery was going to be 7 more days. I was dumbfounded and couldn't understand what I was seeing informing me I wouldn't get the part for 7 more days on the Friday after July 4th weekend. The drive belt was ordered first with a delivery showing for Friday. Realizing I would install the water pump and should install both parts together I went back online and ordered the water pump with a delivery showing for Friday the same as the drivebelt. I would have paid extra if needed to ensure delivery together on the upcoming Friday but didn't see the need because both had delivery dates for Friday, and everything has gone smooth with CarParts on previous orders. they made a mistake and though I was upset with it and sent an email letting them know how upset I realized someone made a mistake and it happens. They reached out to me and smoothed things over with me and I will continue to order with CP because they resolved the issue by apologizing and reaching out to me for the inconvenience also gave me a small discount on items.
