Nearly Perfect Handle
This handle replacement is nearly perfect for the vehicle. Although it did fit the vehicle perfectly, it needed minor adjustments, and one addition to make this item appropriate for the job. After installing the locking mechanism, the first time, I realized I needed to make an adjustment to the metal and make it wider so I had to grind away some of the metal to make it fit. It also did not come with a nut to go on the stud post to secure the handle to the gate. After a stop at the hardware store locally I was able to secure a nut that was a 6 mm nut because of the fine threading to finish the job. Outside of those two adjustments and needs this item as you can see from the picture finished up perfectly.
