Mazda 2002 Protege 5 Rear tail light assembly
Should have just ordered the unit without wiring harness. The new unit came with wiring harness that had a plug. Didn't want to start cutting wires and reattaching. Used old wiring harness to place into the lens light x 3. Had to file nubs of the center light fixture to make the fit. Everything works fine.

Great fit but you have to use the harness that comes with the assembly. The OEM bulb sockets will not fit in the aftermarket assembly. No big deal, but good to know before hand so you know to remove the trim piece to gain access to the pig tail. Wish it came with new nuts for the stems so be careful when removing the old ones.
