Good bumper for the price, better than usual Chicom pot metal garbage.
Nice steel bumper for the price, shipped extremely fast and was packaged securely so all of my plastic was intact. Not sure about fit because I put this bumper on a chassis cab so I needed to weld on some spacers due to the narrower frame. It’s made with decent steel that welds good not that Chicom pot metal garbage that vaporizes when you try to weld it. Price was less than beat up used bumpers on Craigslist, FB Marketplace ect. Steel definitely not as thick as oem but who cares, it’s a bumper. Matched the recesses in the used bed I put on perfectly. Very pleased overall with this purchase.

2008 Ford F250 Super Duty replacing a very rusty bumper..
The hardest part was removing the old bumper. Here in upstate NY rust is a problem (this being said). I was able to bend up what was left of the old bumper and use my acetylene torch to cut off the nuts on the outside end of the bracket (4 nuts). I did not use the provided new brackets and did not have to crawl under the rusty truck, everything matched right up. I also used the old gaskets from the license plate lights, the new gaskets just did not compress well in the cold. The new lights are brighter than the old. Note: be sure the large black wire with white stripe is connected the frame (ground), if not your lights will not work, this is by the trailer plug Trailer outlet: running lights: brown with white stripe, backup: black with green stripe, ground: white, brake: dark blue, left turn: yellow, right turn: orange, battery charge: red This is what I found on a 2008 F250 SD, your wire colors may be different This bumper fit this truck perfect!
