These are the longer base model struts that are 1" taller that the Sport struts. They do fit on and will replace the ones on the John Cooper Works model that have the upgraded Sport package that was an option on vehicles for an additional $500. The spring did require a bit of compression in order to get them high enough to drop into the hole in the wheel hub.
