Front shock does not fit 70 Beetle unless you reuse the extension from old removed shock. Dust cover on old extension will not fit over this new shock tube so it will have to be cut off or removed. The bushings supplied are useless because they are too thick and holes are too small to fit over extension shaft. Had to re-use old, decayed rubber bushings that were on old extension. If the extension is not used the shock's shaft when extended does not even reach the hole in the front axle beam for mounting.
