This part does not fit the from O2 sensor on a 2004 honda civic EX. There are two sizes. This part is too short and will not reach the wiring harness once installed.

Your sales rep looked up what would work *AND* be recognized by the computer - for no more Check Engine light. After the third engine heatup-cooldown cycle (as req'd by computer) the light went out, and the car runs very well. I do believe $175 for a $40 engine O2 sensor is a bit much. Yes, I know $175 is half what Honda wants for it, but their price is obscenely, inexcusably high.
