will these motor mounts let me put a 1jzgte motor into a toyota 1988 supra that once had a 7mge motor?douglas c.Nov 03, 2020
Best Answer:Hi Douglas, This motor mount is compatible with the 1988 Toyota Supra. Engine motor 1JZ-GTE weighs 455 lbs and engine 7M-GE weighs 438.7 lbs. There is just a small difference in the weight of the 2 motors, about 16.36 lbs. Yes, this motor mount can carry on that added weight. Just be more cautious about any added weight you would load into the vehicle.

i need the right motor mount to put 11jzgte motor in a 1988 supra that had a 7mge motor in it? the angle of the motor mount for the 7mgte is different than the mount on the 1jzgte motor so i need somthing different for a mount?dougyNov 04, 2020
Best Answer:Hi Douglas, This is just the standard design motor mount for the 1988 Toyota Supra Base 6 Cyl 3.0L. This is made in steel/rubber and colored black.
