had a p1128 code on my vw golf and decided to take it to the mechanic, he told me he could not locate the exact problem and i needed a master tuneup to ensure the code is erased. long story short I was not happy with the price so i proceeded to replace this part first as ive heard they are notoriously bad on these models and low and behold my code is gone.
