Do these strut replacements need a different part for left side versus right side of hatch? I purchased two of these and they both seem to be for right (passenger side) of trunk, not one for each side or universal.John C.Mar 31, 2022

Great parts, work as intended. Although it took a minute to realize you need to use pliers to rotate one of them to fit the driver side of the hatch door. After rotating, it fit normally like the passenger side one.
