My truck was running fine, then one day it wouldn't start. It sat for about a week then someone stole my truck. Police found it 3 hours later dead in the middle of the street 6 miles from my home. Truck was towed back to my house and wouldn't start. Changed the fuel filter, cap and rotor. After the new cap and rotor was installed, truck ran for a couple minutes and died. Its two main roles are to create a spark strong enough to ignite the air/fuel mixture for combustion and to control the timing of the spark plugs by opening and closing the ignition coil ground circuit. The two most common symptoms of a failing ignition module is Overheating and Sudden failure.
