You will not be disappointed! Great Quality! Amazing Price! Fast Shipping
My youngest daughter has always had (well what we thought was an) irrational fear of a vehicle hood popping open when she drove a car. She would always tug on the hood of any vehicle he was going to drive prior to getting in it. Well, as I am sure you have guessed by my review of this part she sadly had her fear become reality, and to make matters more disheartening it was on the 2nd day of driving her own car (1st owned car) which we so proudly watch her patiently own while making all the responsible adult decisions like taking her time to find just the right mustang she liked, buying it after having both Dad and I as well as a mechanic checking the vehicle from bumper to bumper. She then waiting an entire year before tagging the car to drive so she could make sure she had her driving experience to get a great insurance rate! She would wash it, sit and listen to her stereo while slowly fixing up the interior with personal upgrades! Then FINALLY day 2 of having it on the road she did as she always did and tugged her hood before leaving the house and not even making it up to speed in the hwy right during evening rush hour. She was doing 50 when her latch broke, her hood flew open, it broke 2 hinges from the passenger side so it flew up then across the car! Thankfully she did not panic, she was able to safely get off the road and no other vehicles were involved! It broke my heart to see her wait so long to get behind the wheel of her car after working so hard for it that this Moma wanted a fix asap but I wanted the best latch and hinges I could get so she nor me would not have any worry! This is always my go to company for parts but I was hesitant on not seeing the latch and hinge in person prior to buying! Of course as usual I could not come close to getting a better price and this was the quickest delivery time (only 2 days) that I had found any where, so I ordered them. My husband is a welder and we had talked about possibly reinforce the hinges and mounting plate for the latch prior to installing them on the car but when they arrived after the fast shipping there was no need! The quality was amazing! We had even planned on purchasing the hood anchors just to be safe although we hated how it would have looked but we quickly tossed out that idea after the latch and hinges were installed! I have no worry at all with how well these parts will function! Her hood is secure and I am so glad I took the chance in ordering them here! I promise if you need a replacement you will not be disappointed! Coming from a very over protective Mom!
