Customer Reviews

The seal is properly formed and slanted the correct direction so that the hood would close but the seal base is just barely big enough on the bottom to fit under the cowl. In a couple of places it was not wide enough. The original seal and one from a competitor had pre-punched holes and cut outs. The one from the other vendor was not properly formed to allow the hood to close and the one from Fairchild was formed ok but there were no pre-punched holes. I had to put the seal in place and use the screw holes in the cowl to then punch a hole with an awl to be able to put the screws in place. It was tedious and need not have been necessary if the vendor would have put the pre-punched holes in place. I know there are so many different models of this style pickup that it is difficult to make one that fits all, but failing to pre-punch holes is major. I cannot recommend this to another buyer.
