Best Answer:Hi Keith, Yes, most LED light bulbs are now designed to retrofit to existing light fittings. All you have to do to swap your old light bulbs out and replace them with LED light bulbs. 2013-2014 Subaru Outback All Submodels are using H7 low beam and 9005 high beam halogen headlight bulb.

Check the wiring assembly connector!
This is more of a quality check problem than anything else. My right headlight wiring assembly connector had a pin that was not fully inserted, causing the low beam not to function. When I looked at the connector before plugging in I noticed the half inserted pin, but I figured it was designed that way (not familiar with this kind of connector). After tracing the problem back to the connector I saw how far out the pin had actually come and pushed it back in place. Everything else worked just fine and the new headlights look great.

Driver and Passenger Headlight Parts were received quickly. One part came damaged and when I called the company they quickly resolved it by shipping a new one out to me immediately. Noting, I think the damage was done by the delivery person as there was a big foot print on the box where it was dented/damaged.
