How do we connect the new assemblies when the headlight assemblies sent have different electrical connectors and openings on the back of the assemblies and do not match my 2011 Toyota Venza existing headlights? In addition, there appears to be a "smart" electronic attachment with sensors in an opening on the existing assemblies, how does this fit with the new assemblies? In some cases, the plastic moldings are similar, but no openings exist on the new lights. In other areas, the old assemblies do not have openings or connectors where the new assemblies have them. We may need to return the new headlights if we cannot make the proper connections. Has anyone else run into this?Robin W.Aug 06, 2021
Best Answer:Hi Robin, I'm glad to assist you. There are actually 2 types of headlight assembly for the 2011 Toyota Venza. The one with halogen bulbs (the one you ordered..) and the one with HID/Xenon bulbs. This is with part number SET-REPT100305. The one for the HID/Xenon is probably the correct one for your vehicle. Please call our Sales hotline (1-866-529-0412) and ask to be transferred to Returns Department so they could issue you an RMA so you can return the part and re order the correct headlight assembly.
