you get what you pay for
the final finish from the factory was REALLY POOR. the bolt holes needed for installation weren't cleared of a sizable chunk of plastic and to top that off, they didn't exactly line up like factory replacements. lesson learned. you get what you pay for.

good replacement part
The review by WxMan_II helped me prepare for the installation of the new headlights I ordered for my 1993 Dodge Intrepid. The injection molding flash of plastic covering the threaded inserts in the headlight body, blocked the bolt from starting. The flash must be removed before installing the bolts. I then took a bolt and lubricated it and ran it into the inserts. The flanges were broken on my original headlights, so I was very careful when threading in the bolt. One bolt offered resistance to threading. I borrowed a M4 X 0.70 D4 tap to remove the plastic in the threads.
