Gas tank fit perfectly on my 1962 Ford Galaxie. Only problem I had was it was delivered to my neighbor’s home by FedEx. It was there with the fuel sending unit I ordered that was also delivered by FedEx! My good neighbor let me know, and I installed the tank the same day on my car. I was well pleased with the fuel tank.... and the price!

I ordered this gas tank IF57D for a customers 1964 ford galaxie. The original 1964 ford GAS CAP does not fit this tank.The filler tube inner where you put gas cap on is different, Been on phone trying to find out what year,make,model cap will fit, Im sure they used this filler tube on several different tanks. On phone over an hour with seller Now Im trying to get an answer from the manufacture but they do not answer phone so I had to leave a message and hoping I get a call back today....
