I ordered this fuel pump for my 2003 Buick LeSabre and put it in but my gas gauge won’t ready full tank on the dash when the tank is full. Did I happen to get the wrong fuel pump? Do I need to get the one without pressure sensor?Cyle A.Aug 24, 2021
Best Answer:It is possible that the float was not installed correctly in tank . Did the mechanic test operation of new fuel sender before installing it in tank ? Does the cluster fuel needle read zero when the engine is off ? If it reads below zero then the needle is stuck. (If all these things fail check ground wire connections on engine and gas tank, then you may have a problem with fuel sender in tank )
