This was bought to install on a sailboat with an Atomic4 flathead with fuel issues - now I can see that the fuel is clean and the filter is clear with a quick peek.

The Mr.Gasket Fuel Filter was a good purchase because of the apperance and the easyness of not having to measure to fit the pipes. The Fuel Fillter had many fitting sizes to pipes to make sure it had a perfect fit. You could use Templon Tape just to make sure no leak will occure. I didn't find one but one of my friends said he used it and it was helpful for him.
