I ordered both left and right splash shields for my vw passat. They arrived on my front door pretty fast. The hardest part of the whole job was jacking up the car and taking the tires off to remove the old splash shields. The actual removal and installation process was fairly quick and simple. I hand made two clips. One for each splash shield. Their purpose was for holding down the inside front corners of each splash shield as a quarter sized heavy duty high temp silicone cured, securing those sections onto the body as to not allow a flapping in the wind. I made doubly sure that they were not fastened to the bouncing, flexing suspension.....
