The door ajar light can stay on for any number of reasons: 1) An electrical short in the dome light. 2) An electrical short in the anti-theft system. 3) A door switch stuck in the open position. The likely cause of a dome light not turning off is either the dashboard light control knob being activated accidentally or a broken door switch. There could be also a timer for switching off the light that is pre-built into the car. fits on my flex!
i had no issues on installing, as some of the youtube videos address it. If it doesn't fit, you have to stick your finger through door panel to engage the lever so it fits. It exceeded my expectations!
