The part arrived quickly and well packed, no damage. However it is not a fit for my Audi. The overall front to back dimensions are short by about one inch. I made modifications which took about one day.
I used three 3/4" wide steel strips, cut to 1.5" length. I drilled two holes in each.The distance of the holes equal to the shortage (~1"). Then mounted each strip into the three existing mounting holes of the part as an extension. The second hole in the strips now used to fasten the back of the part to the car.
Some trimming of the plastic was needed. Initially, the steel strips were left loose until a correct fit was
made.
It was time consuming, but considering the alternative of paying for a factory part (quotes around $450.00) it was a less expensive solution.
Only two stars, the part was mis-identified as a guarantied fit.
