Best Answer:They dont cover the whole door .just the vinyl area behind the door handle .they go from the door handle to the aft edge of the door its the area that the vinyl covers it tends to break down and separate from door. You need complete foor cover panels and they are expensive

GEEZ. This looks like someone is thinking this problem through. Am I to surmise that this is a hard plastic/poly panel that replaces the entire now ratty looking upholstered door cards in a 2004 Beetle Convertible? Dare I ask if these are actually molded in VW color? Does one need to wrestle with good old German mis-engineering and take the whole ridiculous door panel out, or have you made this so simple, as to go over the existing mess, and one need only lightly screw this to the existing panel(mess)? Even if the latter is not the case, you have made one great product!!Hater of VW guyFeb 18, 2023

Great idea but the panel inserts are 1” too short on the horizontal. Takes a little MacGyvering to add some additional plastic to complete the bridge. Please consider a similar plastic insert for the headliner!
