I can't comment on the longevity, but the fit to my 1976 Toyota was great. The package included both doors which was an outstanding value and why I bought this item in the first place. It was easiest to use small pliers to remove the old clips from the door, and since the new clips were already installed in the weatherstrip, installation was just pushing the weatherstrip onto the door.
