Best Answer:Hello! Most people refer to the 03-06 Silverado generation as "cat eyes". This hood will not fit on 03-06 Silverados

My hood didnt fit correctly. I had to remove my hinges to get it to sit low enough, also there is a large gap (space) between the lip of the hood and the grill, looks ridiculous.

This is a very cheap hood, so I expected something to not be right. However, none of it really affected the outcome of the hood. The packaging was bad for one reason: the tape holding down the bubble wrap was impossible to take off. It didn't come off for another two washes. Also it didn't come with the heat shield, but you can easily take it out of your old hood. I just didn't like this because I'd prefer the look of a new compared to al old one of course.
