Best Answer:Hi Nealy , I'm glad to assist you. That should be mounted on the reservoir. Please check if you can install it back to its original location, or some work around that you can do to re attach that part. We probably can do a customer service satisfaction rebate of $6 to $7 if you can have it fixed in a shop. If it won't work, you can have it returned and refunded. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.

the dealer wanted $200 for this part. as far as i can tell, the one on this site is the same as from the dealer. i had a local mechanic install this on a 2000 jaguar s.
this is a replacement for the original that has a fluid sensor. even the dealer replacement does not have a place to put the fluid sensor. the mechanic needs to reset the computer after the install.
apparently, the coolant reservoir is difficult t get to. i think the mechanic must remove a wheel and the inside fender to reach up to install.
thus far. no problems.
