However, there are fit notes to be considered like the emission and where the vehicle is registered. Check the Vehicle Emission Control Information sticker, usually found underneath the hood. Federal emissions (46-state) stickers will simply say, "This vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA regulations," whereas California-emissions (50-state) vehicles will say, "This vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA and State of California regulations."
