Yes, this is designed to be used within the 46 states having the EPA/Federal emissions standard. This cannot be used in the states of CA, NY, ME and CO. The parts attribute show a CA emission Tag which means that your car has a low emission output but for use on the 46 states only. The sticker under your hood (VECI), the Vehicle Emission Control Information should say.."this vehicle conforms with the US EPA/Federal emissions.. and CA emissions.." as well.

2001 F150 King Ranch
Would have been 5 STARTS but the packaging was so bad (for one side - the passenger side part) that almost 1/2 of the part was delivered OUTSIDE of the shipping box. And the other side part was delivered by a company NOT EVEN listed as a shipper (never knew it was delivered until I walked out the front door).
They installed easily and with a bit of adjustment fit perfectly and are running as expected.
Those complaining about fit most likely ordered incorrectly.
