Best Answer:Hi Mitchell, I'm glad to assist you. Yes. It is a direct-fit part for your selected vehicle application. I see that you have ordered this already with two other direct-fit catalytic converters. The outlet is the clamp-on attachment, and the front is a 2-bolt welded flange. If you remove the old catalytic converter, you will see the correct position (orientation) of the catalytic converter.

Got the REPF960305 converter for my 2004 ford escape 3.0 engine, the inlet flange on it is a little larger and extends slightly outside the mating flange will the seal be alright?Mick D.Sep 15, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! The seal should be fine, just try and center the smaller flange on the larger flange for there are no steps to disturb the exhaust flow.

After using a micrometer to check the muffler and the new Cat, when i cut the Cat off the muffler off i will be left with both ends the same diameter. Is this correct? I will need an extension piece to install the new cat is this correct? RichRichard H.Jun 30, 2020
Best Answer:Hello! This catalytic converter should slip over the existing exhaust piece after you cut out the original catalytic converter. Is your exhaust original? I would cut a test piece slightly too long, and test fit. If it will not slip on, you can cut to the appropriate length and weld this catalytic converter straight to your original exhaust.
