However, in a transverse (front-wheel drive) engine, the upper sensor is usually associated with the intake camshaft, and the lower sensor is associated with the exhaust camshaft. It's crucial to consult the specific service manual or repair documentation for your vehicle to determine the exact locations and configurations of the camshaft position sensors.
