For the money, these are a great replacement for the stock FRONT rotors on a 2011 WRX STI (and probably other model years as well). That being said, there is a *slight* degree of "you get what you pay for" with these, but overall they appear to be a very worthwhile product. POSITIVE Notes about my particular experience with these: - The fit is perfect. - They look great. - They closely match stock specs on thickness. This means that the slots will serve as a reasonable indicator of wear level on the rotors. - Paired with Hawk HPS pads, there seems to be less fade under heavy braking (though there was little to begin with). Now the NEGATIVE remarks I have about these: - One of the rotors has a single drilled hole that is not in line with the pattern that the rest, but it is only slightly off. - The rotors corrode quite a bit more easily than the stock ones. Leaving the car in the rain will allow the rotor surface to completely rust over in just a few hours (this is not terribly uncommon, or even a real issue, just more of an annoyance and perhaps an indication of the quality of the alloys implemented). The "drum" or "hub" section that leads to the mating surface of the wheels is noticeably corroded as well, though this surface does not appear to rust, but rather corrode like tin. Other thoughts: - I have not had the opportunity to test the raw performance potential of these rotors on a track or other closed course, so I do not yet know how well they will hold up under high stress and prolonged extreme braking. - The hard braking tests that I have performed seem to indicate that these rotors perform comparably to stock, though there *does* seem to be slightly less fade during hard braking. - Since replacing brake pads and rotors, my ABS system has turned itself off and displayed the warning indicator on a couple of occasions. It seems to be occurring less and less frequently, so perhaps this was just due to brand new pads/rotors and the system not being used to so little effort being needed to apply sufficient braking. As long as they don't decide to warp or crack under extreme stress of heavy braking around a track/course of my choosing, these should be every bit as worthwhile as the stock rotors, and perhaps just a little bit better due to increased cooling and resistance to fade.
