Best Answer:Hi, As per checking, there are solenoid valves as well on the transmission. However, this looks exactly for the TCC solenoid (torque converter clutch solenoid). This one matches OEM factory original part number 28500P6H013 and 28500P6H003. Please call your local dealership and provide this 2 original Honda part numbers(above) and confirm if this is a TCC solenoid (torque converter clutch solenoid). It is best to verify this one.

Best Answer:Hi, No, it is not. The two parts are different from each other. A Transmission Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Solenoid: Positioned between the rear of the engine and the front of the transmission is the torque converter. The torque converter is responsible for transmitting the engine's torque and power to the transmission. To prevent slipping at certain speeds (normally speeds exceeding 37 mph) a lockup clutch located inside the converter locks the engine’s output drive to the transmission’s input shaft to achieve a 1:1 ratio – meaning 100% of the engine’s power is now reaching the transmission. While a Transmission Solenoid is an electro-hydraulic valve that controls fluid flow into and throughout an automatic transmission. Solenoids can be normally open or normally closed. They operate via a voltage or current supplied by the transmission computer or controller.
