Best Answer:Hello! Yes, I would say it is better because it has fewer potential places for leaks, however, they are more difficult to install, and a two piece may not leak if precautions are taken during install.

This came with almost of the parts and looks great on the Mustang. The only parts that it didn’t come with were the plastic anchors that attach toward the hood. I did have to use a flexible adhesive glue to make the seal stay on as I had to stretch it to make it reach all the way across the cowl and the adhesive it came with kept coming off. But looks great and I’m happy with the completed project.
