I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The original window regulator motor housing has three threaded holes that accept bolts to attach it to the inside of the door. I have ordered two of these regulators and neither of them have threaded holes like that. Is this possibly the wrong part, or is the housing supposed to attach to the door some way other than the original bolts?Steve R.Apr 16, 2022
Best Answer:Hello! The door should have a bracket that the bolts thread into, but if those are missing or damaged, you could try riveting the regulator into place, or adding a nut to the back of the bracket.
