Yes, there is a big percentage and chance this is window motor is already defective, especially if you have not replaced this part for a long time eversince. I would recommend if we carry the whole window regulator assembly with motor, that would be the best option to order since the regulator might be worn out as well by now.

I ordered the window motor. The replacement was simple except for the 3rd screw i was not able to put back in. After replaceing the motor, a few days later the window stopped working. It was not the motor but the glides needed to be greased. The window works like new now.
