Timken Oe Replacement Wheel Bearing
Mazda Wheel bearing install
The Timken wheel bearings were surprisingly enough made in the USA and seem to be a high quality product. Installation can be troublesome though, especially if you have waited too long to replace your bearings. The procedure requires removing the entire hub and then pressing out the bearing in two parts and then repressing the new bearing back in. I was fortunate enough to have a 55 ton press available to me at work which made this job possible. I would recommend that if you do not have a way to press these babies out on your own, leave it to a professional garage, a hammer and 2X4 will not do the trick.

The service was great along with the user friendly website. I was shopping for quality bearings at a reasonable price. Thanks

This is not a job you want to do twice. I know bearings will fail from time to time, but six months is a joke. I also installed the optional gasket on the inside of the hub toward the axle. Just hoping the splines on the axle haven't welded themselves in. The OEM mazda bearing from the dealer is $90, so I thought I'd go with this one for half the cost. Save yourself some time and shell out the extra cash.
