Product Questions & Answers

Q:2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd  is stuck in first gear, is this the solenoid that will fix the problem? Show Less
Andrew J.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Patch, I'm glad to help you out. Yes. This part is guaranteed to fit the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, 4L60E Transmission; 1-2, 2-3 Shift Solenoid. Low or dirty transmission fluid can cause a car to be stuck in the first gear of the automatic transmission. When the dirty transmission fluid is pushed through the solenoid, these small bits of metal become stuck in the solenoid and prevent it from closing, meaning that your vehicle will be stuck on first gear until the affected solenoid is replaced. I hope this helps. To order the part, click on the link below while the part is in stock and enjoy the savings of our ongoing sale today. Happy shopping. https://www.carparts.com/automatic-transmission-solenoid/replacement/repc320703?can=CPGG4850 Show less

Q:when I turn off my 88 chevy K1500 my four ways stay blinking as well as I am driving WHY???? Show Less
Linde C.
A:BEST ANSWERHi Linde, I'm glad to assist you. If your four-way hazard lights (hazard flashers) continue to blink even after you turn off the switch and it persists while driving, there may be an issue with the hazard light switch or a short on the wiring. The other possibility is a stuck hazard light switch, in the "on" position. We cannot pinpoint the exact part to be replaced for now. I hope this helps! Show less
