Q:My car appears to use 4  o2 sensors (two front and back per side) are these all the same or do I need to get others? Show Less
alan
A:BEST ANSWERHi Alan, There is an upstream (before the catalytic) and the downstream (after the catalytic) oxygen sensors. There are five fundamentally different types of oxygen sensors: unheated thimble, heated thimble, planar, wide-band, and titania. Within each sensor type, sensors vary in the design of the ceramic element, heater element, and protection tube design, all of which affect how the sensor operates. I advise you to check the manual of the vehicle for you to be guided accordingly about the vehicle's required sensors. Show less
