Q:2003 cadillac deville where is the purge control valve located?
Jojo68
A:BEST ANSWERHi Jolyn, I'm pleased to assist you. The purge control valve is typically located on or near the engine intake manifold. This is not the purge control valve. This is the vapor canister vent solenoid. They are not the same thing. Although, they are both components of a vehicle's evaporative emissions system. We currently do not have the purge control valve available for the 2003 Cadillac DeVille. By 1997, enhanced EVAP systems became almost standard EVAP. This was part of the OBD2 protocol, but even after OBD2, there were both enhanced
Canister Purge Valve Solenoid: Symptoms, Replacement Cost

P0499 Code: Evaporative Emission System Vent Valve Control Circuit High
P0499 Code: Evaporative Emission System Vent Valve Control Circuit HighThe EVAP system consists of hoses, valves, and a charcoal canister.
