how to replace 4 body mounts for 2001 Kia Sportage Limited?Andre W.Apr 16, 2023
Best Answer:Hi Andre, I'm glad to assist you. Raise and support the vehicle on jack stands. Locate the body mount that needs to be replaced. There are several body mounts on the Sportage, so it is important to identify the specific mount that needs to be replaced. Remove the bolts securing the body mount to the frame and body using a socket and ratchet or wrench. Depending on the location of the body mount, you may need to access it from underneath the vehicle or through the wheel well. Carefully remove the old body mount and any remaining rubber or metal pieces from the mount location. Install the new body mount into the mount location and hand-tighten the bolts. Torque the bolts to the manufacturer's specifications using a torque wrench. Repeat steps 3-6 for any other body mounts that need to be replaced. Lower the vehicle off of the jack stands and test drive the vehicle to ensure that the body mounts are secure and functioning properly. I hope this helps, and we thank you for inquiring.

will trailing arm stop banging noise in rear of vehicle?Andre W.Apr 06, 2023
Best Answer:Hi Andre, I'm pleased to assist you. Replacing the trailing arm in the rear of a car may potentially solve the banging noise issue, but it ultimately depends on the underlying cause of the noise. If trailing arms become worn or damaged, they can cause clunking or banging noises when driving over bumps or rough roads. In such cases, replacing the trailing arms may solve the problem.
