2017 Chevrolet Sonic 1.8 have had tensioners not provide tension to belt after removing the retaining ring once the parts have been installed, first one did tension enough we thought it was correct until after driving and ruined timing belt bad enough was able to pull it right off gears once relocked in place without having to " detention the tensioner???
