I have a 2007 Monte Carlo SS what would you recommend for installation. I have so many upgrades motor bored 30 thousandths over exhaust k n N air intake it needs more power. Please if possible explain . What about turbo ? Transmission Gears ? Axle? What would be recommended thank you greatly for your experience an timeEJ IIIFeb 03, 2023
Best Answer:Hi, It depends on what you want to achieve with your upgrades and your budget. Here are a few options for further increasing power in your 2007 Monte Carlo SS: Turbo: Adding a turbocharger can significantly increase horsepower and torque, but it can also be a complex and expensive installation. It is recommended to work with a professional who has experience installing turbochargers. Transmission gears: Upgrading to a performance-oriented transmission gear set can help transfer more power to the wheels, but it may also increase wear and tear on the transmission. Consider having the entire transmission rebuilt with performance-oriented parts if you plan on making this upgrade. Axle: Upgrading to a performance axle can help transfer more power to the wheels and improve overall traction, but it may also increase wear and tear on the drivetrain. Remember to upgrade your suspension, brakes, and tires to accommodate the additional power and regularly maintain and upgrade the engine and transmission. It's essential to keep in mind that these upgrades can significantly impact your vehicle's overall reliability and driveability of your vehicle, so it's best to work with a professional and have a plan in place before starting any upgrades.
