However, this item is incompatible with the 2004 Toyota Tundra double cab (crew cab). This item is for the access cab (extended cab) model. Fit very well. I'd suggest more padding on corners for shipping. Package was dropped on corner which required repair to the tailgate before painting. Not a problem for me since this is my profession, but for others well?

Tailgate for 2005 Tundra Part fit perfectly and was a simple repair. Tailgate came primed ready to paint with the usual cleaning prep. I initially had an issue that the first tailgate came damaged. They were super reasonable with the replacement and I am impressed with their level of customer service. Real person on the phone facilitated the return/replacement and was SUPER helpful.
