New Tailgate
Backed in to a tree with tailgate down, so I needed a new one . Checked with junk yard and they all basically wanted $620. , Didnt want to spend that much for an old work truck , found <a href="http://Carparts.com" target="_blank">Carparts.com</a> in an internet search and the rest is history . My new tailgate arrived a day before they said it would . Fit was fine , there is a little ping dent on show face that will easily be fixed before I paint it . It is a little lighter guage steel that the stock tailgate , but no big deal ! You will need to transfer all the hardware from your original gate , and you will need to install new nutserts for your plastic tailgate top , all other threaded inserts are installed except for the plastic top spoiler thing . You will not be dissapointed .
