Tailgate Handle, Textured Black, For Models Without Rear View Camera
Identical to original, complete with flaws.
This is the second time I’ve had to replace this latch handle on my ‘14 F-150. Both of the replacements from Carparts are identical to the original but therefore retain the original’s flaws of weak latch activation pawl. On this latest replacement I filled the pawl arm with steel epoxy prior to installation so maybe it won’t break again. We shall see.
